Coarse body outline on CT

MOOSE outlines four coarse body regions on a CT scan: head, trunk, arms, and legs, with the trunk named body. Whole-body studies use these regions to report volumes, Hounsfield values, or PET and SPECT uptake per region, and to check which regions each scan covers.

Find answers to research questions like: How do head, trunk, arm, and leg volumes differ between groups? How does each region's share of the body change with age and sex? Do uptake values differ between the four regions?
